The Republic of Congo, also known as Congo-Brazzaville, is a country located in Central Africa. The vegetation in the Republic of Congo is dominated by tropical rainforests, covering over half of the country. These forests are home to a variety of plant and animal species, including gorillas, chimpanzees, and forest elephants. Despite its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, the Republic of Congo has faced numerous challenges, including poverty, political instability, and deforestation. However, recent efforts to promote sustainable development and conservation have shown promise in preserving the country's unique ecosystems and communities for future generations.

This Project aims to:

  • Establish 10ha of forestry and agroforestry plantations

  • Transform the vision of small producers to improve their production through training, awareness and coaching

Latest updates

  • 2 ha have already been planted for this first quarter with 2,222 forest seedlings.

  • Communities, and food crop producers (cassava, maize, peanuts, yams) are trained on the challenges of climate change, sustainable development, and forest protection
